Hey there! I have a wonderful gal who is willing to look through the legals for me in Las Vegas. She has not done this before but does know where to go as well as what papers to look in. I know in Arizona the adoption legals were put in the paper once a month. Does anyone know how often they were placed in Vegas? Are they listed in the Classified section? What information would be helpful to her besides my dob? We are doing this in hopes of finding a name for my birth father. Thanks for any and all help!! Wendy

I am posting a reply to my own post for a reason! After joining a Nevada specific site, I realized that many people may not be aware of "legal notices". These were notices that needed to be placed, by law, in the newspaper informaing the birth father that a child is being placed for adoption. So in my case this may be a wealth of information. It may give me my birth fathers name. This is long tedious work. All the papers are on micro film. Tough on the eyes! And, being that I am in Texas, I will contact my library about having the film from Nevada transferred from a library out there. This takes 4 to 6 weeks but can be done. Just wanted anyone interested to have this information.
