However, I can't even find out if he was adopted in Illinois or if the adoption was finalized somewhere else. The only thing I can do, for no money down, is put a piece of paper in his file so, IF he decides to search, he can know I am looking for him. Since his records are sealed, his privacy is protected. I agree with you there should be laws that cover our rights but once adopted I was always told I was not even considered their sibling anymore. I didn't give up though. stay on it!!!!!Good luck!!!
