My son, who is about to turn 2 years old, has always heard the word adoption. Now at bedtime we've started telling him "his" story using a wonderful book by Margie Mintz called "Your Very Own Adoption Story." It's a book that you add photos to with a wonderful story for a young child to understand. Our son listens very carefully. Just curious, at what age did any of you start really addressing the adoption issue?

Go to and then click on Conversation Press. It takes you into some sample pages from the book. Their is also an order form you can print and mail to her. I got mine pretty quickly.
