Questions on search genies!

I filled out a form on a web site for a search genie in Texas 3 wks ago. How long does it usually take to get a responce? Does anyone know of a good genie in TX that I could use? I have been up against a brick wall for a few years now and I realize that this may be my only option left. I am not in desperate need to find my birth family but I would like to soon. I have been on all of the free registries online and I even place postings at many message boards available. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Lisa
