Just learned, the year may have been 1961! The rest of this was written years ago: I have a half sibling I am searching for, not sure if boy or girl. My mother was pregnant by a Salesman and she had to give the child up for adoption. She lived Ft. Lauderdale, FL but staying in Bunnell, FL a few months prior to the birth. Once she gave birth, the child was taken and she was never told the gender. We were told this was a lawyer adoption, dates may have been changed. We (my sister and I) believe the child was reared in Daytona Beach area and was searching for us in the early 1990s. If your birth mother records are correct and they show the mother as: Carole Louise, please reply. I have been searching since the early 1990s. I just want to know my half sister or brother. My mother is deceased, she passed in 2002. I wish I knew more..but don't. I recently learned the child was born in 1962, probably in July - Sept, but most dates were changed on birth certificates back in the early 60s' Any direction or info, I will try to help. Thanks

I am helping my husband search for his family. He was born in Volusia County Florida August 1965. He was adopted through the Children's Home Society. The hospita of his birth was Volusia Memorial. His mother was 19 at the time of his birth. It is said that she was blonde.

My mother was 23 years or older when my other sibling was born and a brunette. So I fear this is not a match. Don't give up...and please have him register with the state. If the Mother or siblings have also registered, he will be notified. Again, best wishes. Thanks
