Okay everyone I hope you all have some ideas. My 3 year old is potty trained....Yeah....but he rarely hits the toilet lately when he goes potty(number 1...lol). I have to scrub the floor daily and always wipe down the toilet. Many times its because he isn't paying attention and is in a hurry to get back to whatever toy he was playing with. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Children who have to take 15 minutes out of their day in order to clean up their messes usually figure out it takes less time to not make the mess in the first place.
Of course, since he's only 3, you'd have to clean up after his cleaning. But the lesson should still sink in - if there is urine on the floor after he uses the bathroom, he loses quite a bit of playtime, in fact he loses more playtime than aiming properly would have taken in the first place.
Hang in there! And if you haven't already, run some sealant between the flooring and the base of the toilet. If you get a drop under the flooring it'll smell bad for months.

I made my oldest Ds sit. He was too short for most toilets when he was potty trained, so I taught him to sit down. He is able to stand now (aged 9, so I HOPE so!) and he's pretty careful. The other Ds, though, barely gets his pants down, let alone aim. We're working on it. On the bright side, my toilet (in THEORY) should be the cleanest on the block!
What is the infatuation of water? My 3 year old has flooded our bathroom several times. The last time I made him clean it up with towels and then he had to carry them to the washer so we could wash them. Thank you all....at this point I think its just a lack of paying attention and we are working on it. I do have to say that my 7 year old sometimes just doesn't pay attention either. However, the 7 year old now helps clean the bathroom and thinks its "disgusting". Barksum so true!!!

Yeah, inattention is a real problem. So, um, why is it that ADULT males often have this same issue???? Ew. (Not Dh, for which I'm eternally thankful!)When I was visiting my sister I used the bathroom. Sadly, I didn't check the toilet seat before sitting. EW ICK! I complained when I came out, and my BIL called my then-teen-aged nephew downstairs and said, "Your aunt just sat in pee on the seat! Go clean the toilet!" Poor neph and I were about equally embarrassed.

I second the idea of having them clean up their own messes. It worked for me. (For both generations.) :)
My hubby hates to clean toilets. So I do them. (And he does the showers, which I hate.) But I told him (after a few cleans) that I will NOT be cleaning the toilets if the pee is not where it belongs. Even if they aim well - it still splashes, and It's gross. (Yes, this from a nurse who can be up to her elbows in someone's insides and is fine with it - It's the context, I guess.) Anyway, I guess he REALLY hates to clean toilets, because I have never seen misses since. and it's been eleven years. :) He sits. And he taught my son to sit. Very helpful. Of course my son no longer sits (He's a BIG three year old now, but when he missed, I had him clean it up, telling him it's my job to do my own chores (cleaning the bathroom), but not my job to clean up his messes. So he doesn't miss anymore either. He's VERY careful. :)
Now the only pee I have to clean up is when the friends come over. Yuck!!! Seriously! Ugh!

I agree that a 3 year old should be sitting down and not standing up....but you see his big brother(7) stands up and little brother must do "everything" big brother does. When we can we encourage him to sit down or sometimes he forgets to lift the seat that will make it easier for him to make it into the toilet. It is just a matter of working with him more on aim....
