I was born in West Palm Beach Florida at Good Samaritan hosptal on May 16th 1986 My biological mother had 2 other children when she was pregnant with me... I believe they were boys. She came over from cuba when she was around 5 months pregnant. and her husband I believe got stuck in cuba at the time. I was also told she was around 25/26 at the time. She hurt her back at some point because my adopted mother had to pay for her to get her back taken care of while she was pregnant with me. She also had her tubes tied after I was born. I have a beauty mark on the inside of my upper left arm. I was adopted through chosen children adoption agency. I was told that my biological mother was into singing and dancing and alot of other artistic thing I imagine we have alot in common. I really want to meet her and my brothers however like so many other people my adoption was sealed. So this is my only hope...untill then i will sit and wonder and wait...:coffee:

I am the adoptive mother of a baby girl also placed by Chosen children in West Palm beach FL on July 22 1986. The agency director was Jan Cohn who died of MS in 1993. Her sister then ran the agency til it closed in 1995. The doctor that delivered you was probably Stephen I Wagner now in Tampa.. who I have not yet talked to .. I talked to the attorney Jan Cohn's husband and no one seems to know where the records from the agency have gone. I did however locate the nurse who kept our daughter over night and she said all the women were housed together so it is highly likely that your birth mother and my daughter's mother were in the house at the same time. I don't know how this website works but feel free to email me Lieb52@aol.com.. I also can give you other info that I have researched.. Good luck with your search.. My daughter is petitioning the Palm bEach court to open her records but the judges are pretty tough and it is highly unlikely that you will get your file open.. My daugher feels incomplete so I am doing m;y best as a mom to help her.. I hope this info is helpful. Mrs. Lieb
