This one might need to be watched: http://forums.adoption.com/special-needs-adoption/322275-look-into-nancy-thomas-parenting.html.
People have really strong opinions on this subject (one way or the other) and it might get a bit heated. So far everyone is playing nice but it could blow up at some point.

If it's a respectful discussion...then hopefully it'll be a good one. Unfortunately I don't ever see dad's threads going that way. Not to be catty...just saying.
Lorraine - Think this would be a good day to start some "relief" threads or fun threads. Can't hurt anyway...
This is crazy. We special needs folks usually just go on about our lives asking questions of one another. Now its total chaos!!!! We get rid of one nut and another pops up.
I will bring some relief...
Lorrraine -
I've always wondered. What does SNPTF mean? I get that the SN is Special Needs but don't get the rest.
Special needs parent task force.
Which may soon be hunting down a dad. LOL, I really want to smack him. I am not usually a violent person, but he just bugs me.

I posted a warning about bring up the past and issues from other threads, if he does it again I am closing the thread and putting him on a break.
Na IMO he started it and kept continuing it. It seemed like he did not want to give it up, he keep going and going and going. :D
Don't keep getting sucked in! You know he'll pick apart quotes and just keep hammering on. If he doesn't have responses.....;)
So STOP IT! LOL!

It was just a little wet noodle smack Lorraine! Sheesh! Take it like a woman!;)
Some people I think you can go back and forth with and eventually you get somewhere. I don't see that with Dad on this issue. Well...more than just this issue. Often he'll have something good to say but the way he says it and how insistent he is...it's worse than debating with my 9 year old dd and she's tough! lol.

LOL, that one. I'm sure another one will pop up. They seem to be doing that a lot lately. :)
