We are looking at adopting from Cambodia sometime next year. I have been researching agencies, and my head is swimming! I would love to visit with anyone who has already adopted about from this country! I just don't know how to decide on the agency to use! Thanks!

I contacted our the US Embassy in Vietnam when we were having some concerns with our last adoption. The adoption unit gave me the names of agencies and one facilitator they were having problems with. Don Phan was the name they gave me, he suposedly is facilitating adoptions in VN and Cambodia.

Don Phan is a wonderful man who coordinated all that was required in order to adopt my beautiful daughter from Cambodia in late May of this year. She was 9 1/2 months old and he made the whole experience both prior to traveling even more once I got to the Sunway Hotel, a successful and special experience. I hightly recommend using any agency that he is working with. I plan on maintaining a relationship with him for a long time. He no longer does adoptions in Vietnam. He is concentrating on Cambodia, as far as I know.
