Has anyone used one? It is driving me crazy having to keep stopping during feeding to rinse out little clumps in the nipples.
I haven't ever used one, but I don't ever remember having that problem with formula. It has been a "few" years (my youngest is now 15) but I do have many nieces, nephews and great nephews around.
Maybe give this a try, when you put in the water and formula, don't put in the whole amount of water and shake that way to mix and then put the rest of the water in. That way, if there are clumps, you can get them out before starting the feeding. Also, try a little warmer water to dissolve the formula faster without clumping.
Just a couple of suggestions...

When my oldest (now almost 11) was a baby he would not drink bottles that had been shaken up so I bought a pitcher with a 'plunger' in for mixing (looks like the Dr. Brown's formula mixer pitcher) and would just make up a pitcher of formula every morning. That way I could get the clumps out and it could sit in the fridge and let the air bubbles settle out.
We use bottles that come with a little stopper to let you shake it up without spilling. I fill mostly with boiled cooled water, add about 2 ounces of boiled hot water, and then add the formula. It mixes more thoroughly in warmer water than in colder water. But avoid using all recently boiled water, bc then you can get major clumps.
