I am a part of a group of people that tend to go unnoticed and often unintentionally forgotten. But that's ok the experience has blessed me beyond my imagination.
My parents became foster parents when I was 12 and from then on we had foster children placed in our home for many many years. (yes children of foster parents are in fact a very important part of the foster care system...hey I had to share my mom and dad with numerous children:) And if I had to do it again I would tell my parents go for it because it truly taught me how to love. In fact my parents are still fostering. Yes....they are angels here on earth. :wings:
The reason I am writing this post is that I have been practicing law for a couple of years now and I am finally deciding to wholeheartedly follow my heart and the reason that I became an attorney and solely focus on adoptions and developing an adoption agency in the future. I would love to get some input from adoptive parents and birthmoms as to what they were looking for when selecting their attorney. Or any positive or negative experiences you had with your attorney.
Thanks for any help in helping me to live my dream, work my passion, and continue the legacy of my parents.
