potential for ugliness
I find myself not wanting to respond to the second one either! Maybe she's bipolar and off her meds..

Ugh, now her responses are bugging me...
It's like you said
They don't want help or suggestions, they want to just ***** and moan and no matter what the advice, it's never good enough.
Which, of course, I knew going in, I just couldn't stop myself....
:grr:
She just finally states clearly that her husband is the daughter's bio dad!
Why does this read COMPLETELY different now that she's the child's step-mom turned adoptive Mom? I definitely was under the impression that this was maybe a foster situation where Mom didn't work case plan and instead TPR'd and "walked away".....
I'm still doing one of these.... :grr:
I thought she did say that...or maybe it was in her profile? At any rate, nothing was crystal clear so I've made a ton of assumptions. (what else is new?)LOL!
She said this....
I adopted her when she was 5 and started dating her father when she was 1, I've been here for most of the short life.
...in the "2 moms" thread, which was when I first noticed it myself.
In the other thread she said,
DD's needs were taken care of by her father and biomom had regular visitations (living in the same town).
...which confused me, but I just kept going, haha!
She might have said it somewhere else though! (Didn't read her profile). Just makes my head spin that everytime I turn around there's a new peice to the puzzle that I hadn't picked up on.

That was how I read it too until today. Though I didn't read her profile either.
I am wishing someone would ask where the biofather/husband is in all this.

LOL! I am just trying to figure out if he is the smart one and trying to stay out of the drama (though that doesn't come across as in the best interest of his daughter, but who knows) or is a total moron and not even aware of the drama. Or a third option I haven't even thought of yet! :)
Since biomom is former wife/girl friend, he may really be standing in quicksand... and sinking fast.

So true!
I do wonder what part the OP had in the breakup of the origional marriage and the birthmother walking. But I am probably just looking for more drama. ;)
And the plot thickens . . .

I am even more curious the father's role in this. And the biomom's side of the story. (And I probably also need to get out more as I am way too intrigued by this situation!)

It's our own personal soap opera... with a to be continued after each episode. (I do so want to correct grammar.)
