We are a family of 5. We have 3 bio children. We have tried to adopt 2 other times but I got pregnant both time b/f we were matched. So, we have always wanted to adopt but our funds had run out and we were putting that chapter of our lives behind us. Well, about 7 weeks ago we heard about a girl that wanted to find a couple to adopt her child. She is due June 15, 2011. We met her and she asked us to raise her child. We are thrilled! We contacted an attorney, met with the SW. We are now just waiting! I have had the pleasure of having lunch with her 2x and saw her cousin at a mutual friends house this weekend. They both seem to like our family. We are now 14 days away from the birth of our son. I have felt so at peace about this adoption this whole time. I really think we are meant to have this child in our lives. I have always felt incomplete as a family, like someone was missing.
