Just awesome!

Our ds is going to be 1 year old tomorrow (yikes!). Today, we received the most wonderful gift from his birthmom. She sent a recordable copy of "Guess How Much I Love You," and listening to her read it to him left tears in my eyes. His birthdad texted birthday greetings yesterday, and wished he could have attended the party. Maybe next year... Tomorrow, his birthdad's mom and her boyfriend are coming over for lunch. Our son is so lucky to have so many people in his life who love him! We're so lucky to have the participation of so many who want to make this open adoption work!
