Like so many other posts on here, we are overwhelmed at the agencies and choices... We are interested in Korea and Russia. We adopted our now almost 4-year-old via private adoption and are hoping to add to the family with a young sibling (gender of no matter).
Here's who we've found so far, if anyone has any experience, PLEASE PM me.
- Carolina Adoption Services (in conjunction with Family & Children's Agency) (for Korea)
- Barker (for Korea)
I would ask lots of questions about Korea. They are decreasing the number of children by 10% each year and running out of exit visa faster than children. The wait can be very long and they could close on you anytime during that wait. We have just backed out of the KOrea program after getting a referral and no visa for him. They say they may get him a visa in 2012 but they cant even promise that. Also lots of rumors about Korea wanting to close all together as early as 2012.
