I followed my ( assumed ) family in the hometown through about 1954, but they disappeared from the City Directory and I haven't been able to find them since. I imagine they probably divorced, but I don't know where to go next. VA has the law as well that, if i have Soc Serv seek out B/M or family and they say no, I am not supposed to contact them. Is it a crime if I would do so anyway? I don't want to give up yet! I and my sons have some health issues to ask about, and I wanted to let B/M know I had a really good life - she probably did the best thing she could have for me!
Any ideas?
