Foster/Adopt in Ohio

DH and I are new to this process. We have been dealing with our county so far and it's an absolute disaster. Horrible communication, rude workers, not getting any questions answered, etc. Is anyone in Ohio that can offer some insight? Are they all like this? Can we go through a different county? Do other agencies license to foster? We live in north east Ohio if it makes a difference.

You may want to try a private agency.

Kids Count Too is the foster agency that I am with. I have had nothing but good experiences with Kids Count Too. They can get referrals from all over Ohio so you are not limited to your county.
