Titles of her 26 published books include: In Their Own Voices; Adoption Across Borders; Adoption, Race and Identity; and The Case for Transracial Adoption.
Professor Simon and I are currently compiling material for a new book on transracial adoption one that will consist of extensive interviews with adult transracial adoptees and contain their reflections, thoughts, and experiences with adoption (and issues regarding culture and identity). We are currently seeking self-identified transracial adoptees from ֑untraditional multicultural families (i.e. Korean adoptees with African American parents; Latino adoptees with African-American parents; white adoptees with African American or Asian parents; etc.).
If you or someone you know would like to participate and would be comfortable speaking with either Professor Simon or myself, please feel free to contact me via email at: tra_research@yahoo.com. At this time we are only interviewing individuals who are at least 18 years old.
I would also be happy to answer any questions or inquiries regarding this research.
Thank you for your help.
