I am looking for a meaningful gift for my son's birth mom with Mother's Day getting closer. I know that must be a difficult day and I am wondering what I can do to help make it a special day for her. What ideas do you have?

Honestly, any effort you make to make mothers day a special day for her will mean the world. To be acknowledged on this day means so much to me as a birth mom. Flowers, cards, all your typical things are great. I love getting crafts from both my birth daughter and her brother. Some of the most meaningful gifts I have received are castings of her hands and feet, hand print art, and framed photos. A nice card telling her that you care about her and see her as just as real as you will go a long way.
