My heart goes out to the 12 families featured in the 20/20 story last night. I can't imagine the pain they are going through. To the families who stayed behind in Cambodia and the families willing to stay the two years it may take to bring your daughters home, may your stay be safe. My husband and I had been thinking that we would adopt our next child from Cambodia, but after seeing what has happened I don't think we can go through what these families have. Best of luck to all of you.

Does anyone know anything more about the families in Cambodia who were featured on 20/20 Dec. 19th? It seems to me there should be something that we can do to help them and support their efforts to get Visas for their children. I have already sent e-mails to all of my Senators, representatives, and President Bush. Any ideas?

The 20/20 episode focused on Cambodia, but the INS have been doing the same thing recently in Vietnam and other countries. This is according to articles in the Portland Oregonian.
