Growing up in an orphanage in Ukraine, three sisters were preparing for a sad split since the orphanage was closing. Miraculously, the Correale family was successful in adopting these girls before the orphanage closed.
They had already attempted adoption two times previous, and had been unsuccessful for various reasons. Ukranian laws give U.S. couples only three chances – if not successful, they have no more opportunity to adopt from Ukraine. It was thanks to support from their friends, family, and their church that they were able to pull off the details of the adoption. There are over 100,000 orphans in Ukraine waiting to be adopted.
