Chevyjewel has people getting pretty worked up with her thread.
I really don't think she means to, but she sure has a knack for offending people. (Myself included!)

She pm'd saying she didn't understand why she was getting so much flak and was frustrated that she wasn't being heard.
I told her that her actual intent and question of the thread is lost because she used a poor example that people can't see beyond in order to discuss.
She pm'd back saying she was just going to ignore the religious aspect of the discussion from this point on. So I think that's what she means by being done with that. She really does want to focus on her true question.
Whether or not people will do that, I don't know. So glad tomorrow is a holiday and this will hopefully die out.

Chevy is going to get herself banned if she doesn't stop. I've helped her a lot this week and I know Lynda has helped her several times recently too. We did mediate on her thread, etc. and she had the ever loving gall to post how much we suck.
I've posted to her openly since she called us out openly. She can take a hike because I'm done being nice. Gaw!

Thanks Crick. I'm sorry I haven't been much 'with it' lately, but with everything going on with my mom, well you know.
To add to everything, my nephew sustained 3rd degree burns fighting a fire. He will be ok, the burns weren't too extensive - right foot. In addition a good friend fell and broke her shoulder and has had to have 2 surgeries.
