Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania foster child, four-year-old Jamie, has received the gift of a lifetime. Make that: two gifts. Critically ill, Jamie benefited from the social media campaign her foster family and social services launched alerting the public of her need for a liver transplant. Just this past month a donor was found and Jamie received the transplant in time to save her life. That is gift number one.
Gift number two? Her foster family is preparing to become her forever family. Life for Jamie just became wonderful. Jamie and her donor are both recovering as doctors keep a close watch on the two of them.
