This is the story of Mama Kong, the remarkable woman who continues to adopt children who no one wants. Chinese children in the Shanxi province have six times the chance of being born with a congenital defect than any other Chinese child. And when a child with a deformity is born, often the parents will abandon the child.
But Mama Kong sees past deformities. She is saving abandoned babies in China. She has adopted 31 children and has not only given them a chance at life, but also a life of love and acceptance.
Mama Kong spends her days nurturing and loving, but she also advocates for the children, seeking medical help and opportunities for education.
