In this video an adoptive father talks about growing his family through adoption. He expresses his very real fears about adoption, and then about the miracle of the change of his heart. Rick and his wife, Melissa, began their journey – a journey of many surprises and directions they hadn’t expected.
Now, a family with six children aged 2 to 13, Rick finds great joy in his priceless experiences of everyday life.
“Perhaps you’ve thought about adoption and haven’t done anything about it,” Rick says. “Maybe it’s fear, maybe it’s doubt. Men, let me encourage you. Be a father to the fatherless.”
