Adoptive mother Amanda Karol has a big heart. She and her husband adopted 5 children with Down syndrome from Ukraine. To celebrate a birthday, the Karols took all of their children to a trampoline park. But once they arrived at the trampoline park, the family was immediately segregated.
Wanting her children to have a fun experience and interact with other children, it was disheartening to Karol to have them immediately cordoned off in their own section. Having signed a safety waiver, she felt it was not the responsibility of the business to move her children for safety reasons, but rather, that it was her responsibility to keep them safe.
To do so, she had brought extra family members to help.
