Elijah Thomas was placed for adoption at birth. He grew up with loving parents in a closed adoption, and it wasn’t until he turned 18 that he began to search out his roots. Elijah found his birth mother and developed a relationship with her and with her daughters. But when he let his family know he would be finding his birth father and meeting him unannounced, he met with resistance.
