Just as they were about to become empty nesters, the Hardings intuitively knew there was something else, something more, for them. The mandate in the Bible to care for orphans spoke volumes to them. So the Hardings “joined the ranks” of many others have reached out and searched for those who are meant to be part of their families — they looked to adopt.
“Unadoptable” children have also been loved and welcomed into forever families. Sadly, orphans who are critically ill are often overlooked. Yet there are families — to include empty nesters — with soft hearts who create homes, security, and family to give to these deserving children.
