This tender first meeting with their six-week-old son, Dennis, is beyond precious. Baby Dennis is a gift from heaven to his loving adoptive parents.
At the time, they did not have any idea how long the wait would be before Dennis would be able to come home with them; to start their journey as a family with them. Dennis stayed in Guatemala City — his parents visiting frequently — for his first year of life.
Finally, at 13 months of age, Dennis’ parents made their last visit to Guatemala. He flew home with them to join their family and to finally be with them forever.
