Adoptive Parents Express Their Feelings for Birth Parents Original Video | Adoptive Parent Voices

Denalee Chapman August 20, 2015

Most adoptive parents feel an amazing connection with their child’s birth parents.  The feelings go beyond gratitude. Life is a gift. For adoptive parents, birth mothers who give life and then try to give the child the best life possible by placing the child for adoption is an action that is incomprehensible.Gratitude extends beyond the birth mother to the birth father as well.

It is the wish of these panel members and adoptive parents that birth parents can feel a measure of the love that they truly deserve. Although all adoption situations are unique, the deep feelings of love and gratitude that adoptive parents feel for birth families are the same. They are strong and they are real.
