Brandie was adopted as an older child. And her message to other foster children is, “Don’t give up hope.”
For Brandie, the result of hoping and striving led to her forever family. “I look like my mom, but I act like my dad,” she tells us.
The happiness is evident as we watch Brandie with her parents and dog. Together they make a family – a loving, happy, fun family who will always be there for each other. In Brandie’s situation, it took 10 long years. Such is the case for many. But that doesn’t make them unlovable or unadoptable. It makes them more ready to love and be loved.
