Remember way back in 2011 when the adorable 13-year-old Rachel Crow took The X-Factor by storm with her powerful voice? Well, having been born to a woman addicted to drugs and living the first few months of her life in a crack house, Rachel survived the abuse and was fostered, then adopted, by a loving family. Now, Rachel is sharing her incredible talent to help bring awareness and help to foster and adopted children. In this tender performance at the Angels in Adoption Gala in 2015, Rachel does more than just perform Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song.” She brings adoptees and those who have been in the foster system up on stage to perform with her. The result is a touching experience for performers and observers alike.
