Since Clark Howard began working with Atlanta’s WSB radio, the city’s foster children have been blessed by his efforts to collect Christmas gifts for them. This year, when Howard heard that the number of Atlanta children in foster care was 5,200 he was concerned. How could they ever collect that many gifts?! reports that the community stepped up to the plate and donated, donated, donated! Howard recognizes the efforts of not only gift donators, but also the National Guard who help with the project.

On Clark Howard’s website he encourages the community to keep giving. Salvation Army provides needed clothing and other items throughout the year. Howard provides a donation button that goes directly into a Salvation Army fund on his website.

The full story and photos of gift collecting may be seen here.
