What do birth mothers have in common? According to those we spoke with, they all believe that it boils down to love. “Adoption is love,” they tell us as they recount various reasons they chose to place their children for adoption.
For some, they know their child will be able to become his best self in a family that is already stable and thriving; for others, they want a home with two parents for their child to be raised in. Whatever the reasons are for birth mothers choosing to place their children in adoptive homes, the decision is always made with a foundation of love.
