Jamie was born with a liver defect and has spent her entire life in foster care. Caregivers and workers at the local Children’s Services have all become attached to Jamie and are thrilled at the news that a liver donor has been found.
David Denovchek became aware of Jamie’s story and was so touched the he took the steps to be tested. He is a perfect match, and will be donating part of his liver to Jamie this month. Because of the medical expense, as well as the time he will have to be away from work to recover, David has created a GoFundMe page to help with those costs.
