Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD) is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta Georgia. Founded in 2012 by Peter and Holly Ranney, the organization recently provided a home makeover for long-time foster and adoptive mom, Estella Sims.
Estella regularly cares for children with special-needs and has fostered more than 20 in the past 40 years. Her loving home was renovated to include more storage as well as a larger bedroom. “This is just gonna change my life, change my life, we can move, we can breathe,” she said when seeing the renovation for the first time. SOARD is dedicated to helping those who help children. They believe that every child should feel safe, comfortable and relaxed.
