The Connecticut Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents is a non-profit organization which provides support and training for adoptive and foster parents. In preparation for their annual “Avenue of Dreams” (a prom-inspired day), the group is holding a donation drive. Accepting donations of prom dresses, make up, shoes, and accessories, the drive is fun for donors and recipients alike.
On “Avenue of Dreams” day, the girls are primped and pampered as they are given gift bags filled with hair care products and make up. Following their “makeovers” each girl has a photo session with a professional photographer. It’s truly a Cinderella-style day for foster girls in the area.
