“There is a home for every child,” preaches both adoptee, Mary Lee, and her adoptive dad, Scott. It doesn’t matter your age. In fact, Mary was older – just weeks before turning 18, when she was adopted by her adoption worker, Scott Lee and his wife. Originally, Scott and his wife were considering adoption of a baby. But when he mentioned that to Mary, she said, “No! You don’t want a baby! You want a teen. They’re cute, and they’re potty trained.”
In fact, Mary told Scott that he and his wife should not only adopt a teen, but they should adopt her. Thus began the transformation of the Scott family.
