Grant Me Hope is the program that WXYZ created as they team up with the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) to find loving, permanent homes for children and youth. With thousands of individuals, couples, and families hoping to adopt every year, this TV station and MARE hope to raise awareness regarding children who are a little older–those who may have had a family at one time, but are now alone. Currently about 1 million children in the United States live in adoptive homes. Adoption is an incredible way to grow a family, bringing security, love, and permanency to many.
