Sadly, we have seen how child trafficking is increasing in our world.
And with child trafficking on the rise, the Haitian government has cracked down on international adoptions. This video is a short rendition of one family’s experience of finally getting their child home.
About a year ago the Haitian Government began moving forward with adoptions. The criteria became less restrictive. Policies to determine that children being adopted internationally really are orphans, and not victims of child trafficking, are now in effect.
