KTBS reported this week on ArkLaTex Angels, a sort of spin-off of the popular Wednesday’s Child. The news station is doing its part to find homes for the more than 646,000 children in foster care in the three states this holiday season.

Produced every year by KTBS 3 News, this television program brings foster children and their needs to the public. They share details about not only the need for foster families, but also what first-time foster parents can expect from qualifying to placement.

KTBS, the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, and Volunteers for Youth Justice in the CASA program have put together this informative, yet touching annual event to raise awareness and to help make a difference in these children’s lives.
