Video: Hull Family Describes Life as Foster Parents

Have you seen this?

Denalee Chapman May 01, 2015

Jennifer and Mike Ashley talk about their experience as foster parents.  They have their own biological children, but chose to share their lives and love with children in need by being foster parents.  They began foster parenting 3 years before the filming, and their first foster child, a son, is still with them.  They are in the process of adopting him.

They have fostered many other children, some for as short as two weeks.  Both know that each moment they have with a foster child can be a moment that builds the child and brings happiness.  Although it’s hard to let go of children they are attached to, they are grateful for the relationship they develop.

There are some specific tips for foster parenting also discussed in this video that would be helpful for any considering fostering.
