This video highlights an original song, “I’m Alive — The Adoption Song,” created by an adoptive father. He has beautifully dedicated it to the two birth mothers in his life — Tina and Nicole. These courageous and selfless women gave the gift of life and love to their children, Charlie and Sally, when they carried them to term and then chose to have them placed for adoption.
Interestingly, the lyrics are from the perspective of the adopted children, who are blessed because of the choices of their birth mothers. But clearly — as the music fills your ears and soul — you realize the adoptive father feels just as blessed.
