A couple's domestic adoption

Jessalynn Speight August 23, 2014

Watch out. This movie will make you cry.

This couple is informed of a baby that is ready to be picked up in a hospital in California, but that’s all we learn about the little boy’s background.

The couple is excited and overwhelmed with joy when they finally get to meet their son. At minute 4 i started blubbering incoherently. It suddenly helped me see the exact emotion that all adoptive couples must go through when they meet the child they are about to accept into their family forever.

Minute 6:30 shows that they are just like any new parent, confused at how to get a baby to stop crying.

Until they met him, he was only known as “Baby Boy.” Overall, a beautiful film that every parent should watch before adopting.
