In Arizona alone, 800 children age out of foster care every year. In the United States, the number is over 20,000. Each an individual, each wanting and needing love.
The Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation (AFFCF) invites all to be a friend and help in whatever way you can. They hold fundraising events, accept monetary and other donations, invited participants to volunteer and help those who wish to provide foster care.
The AFFCF provides sporting events, educational activities and other experiences that foster children may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy. With children entering the foster care system daily (currently about 30 each day) the need is great in Arizona and in every state. A quick internet search will list organizations in your state that provide similar help to foster children in need.
