Lisa and Jessica and an Open Adoption

Have You Seen This?

Denalee Chapman January 15, 2015

David’s adoptive mom and birth mom get together to share the joy of open adoption. Friends in Adoption hosts an annual picnic where birth families and adoptive families can get together.

Both Lisa and Jessica share how awkward their open adoption was to begin with. Through time, they found that they could learn how to honestly share their open adoption journey together. They’ve found that it’s not only joyous for the two of them, but it’s the best thing for the child as well. Open adoption proves to bless many adoptees, giving them good and wonderful things in life:  Like more people to love them.
