Foster parent, Jody Dishman, has a big heart. She not only cares for her foster children, but has now opened Angel Wings Clothing Closet. The non-profit organization receives donations and has volunteers who help make sure that foster children are able to be clothed and taken care of in a more comfortable way. Foster parents receive only about $250 a year in reimbursement for clothing they buy for a foster child. They often have to wait several months for that reimbursement. At Angel Wings, foster parents may bring children in to pick out any clothing or hygiene items at no charge. Jody Dishman has grown from providing her own foster children with clothing to being an organization who helps all children in the state of Missouri.
