WSVN TV’s Parent to Parent segment highlighted the DePasquales family who, when deciding to start a family, started with teenagers. They began by adopting teen sisters through the foster system and later added two brothers. For the parents, once they met the youth, they just knew they belonged in their home.
The DePasquales found their children through The Heart Gallery of Broward County. All of the children featured in The Heart Gallery are adoptable and hoping for permanent, loving homes. For those wishing to help, but aren’t at a stage in life to adopt, there are other opportunities. The Heart Gallery welcomes volunteers as well as donations.
