Alonna is a sweet, respectful, and nurturing child. She is a born leader and is protective of her siblings. Alonna is responsible and shows a great deal of maturity for her age. She often completes needed tasks in the home without being asked. She enjoys cleaning up and helping with household chores. Alonna is actively involved in cheerleading and an organization for girls. She volunteers in her community and completes several hours of community service each year. She helps feed the homeless, clean cemeteries, and participates in activities with senior citizens at the nursing home. Alonna also attends a leadership class twice a month. She recently earned a Drum Major award for volunteering her time to help others. Alonna excels academically at school and is reading above grade level. She is quite active at times and needs to be constantly involved in tasks that spark her interest. Alonna sometimes has a low frustration level with her siblings and can be quarrelsome at times. However, she responds well to verbal praise and redirection.

Alonna will do best with a two parent family. She would love to be adopted by parents who share her culture, but she is open to a family that will love her unconditionally. Alonna's desire is to be adopted with her two siblings. She will do best with a family that likes to be active in their community and will allow her to participate in extracurricular activities like cheerleading or dance.
