Hello, expectant parent(s)! Thank you for visiting our profile! We have known for some time that adoption was part of God's plan for our family. Through prayerful consideration, time, and counseling together (as well as with some wonderful professionals, family members, and friends), we are ready to grow our family through the miracle of adoption. We (Kourtney, Chase, and our fun-loving daughter, Nora) are excited to get to know you better! One of the best things about us is that we have an amazing extended family! Both sets of Nora’s grandparents and most of her great grandparents are still spoiling our Nora.

Spending quality time together as a family is very important to us. In this picture, we had just eaten breakfast while camping, and were excited to go on our hike! We all had a blast making memories together. For our Nora, as well as future children, we try to have regularly structured learning experiences, and try to find as many spontaneous “teaching moments” as we can.

We love and try to live by these words from The Family: A Proclamation: “Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.”

A bit about us...

“...my marriage means so much to me!”

I love her more every Day!
- About Kourtney, by Chase -

Kourtney is the best thing that ever happened to me. She is Christ-Centered, fun-loving, patient (especially with me), and kind-hearted. I love the way that she dedicates portions of each day to put down everything and play with our daughter, read the scriptures, and be my Spouse.
Kourtney loves to work on embroidery and crocheting projects, garden, plan family vacations and outings, bake bread, and try new recipes. On top of it all, she just loves to see her family smile!
My wife has such a love for family that she took several courses in college regarding Marriage and Children. She loves to learn from experts and implement their suggestions of how to be a better wife and mother. I frequently ask her about how we should teach Nora various topics, and marvel at the level of knowledge she has in the subject.
My Kourtney really is something special, and I love her more every day!

- About Chase, by Kourtney -

All children love Chase! He is so fun and energetic! He’s the best Daddy to our Nora and she adores him. When other women complain about their husbands, I just can’t relate. Of course, he isn’t perfect. But he really is a cut above the rest. He takes better care of me than I thought anyone ever could and my marriage means so much to me! I have never met a man more gentle, patient, loving, responsible, respectful, and faithful. I don’t know what I would do without him!
Chase enjoys what I call “tinkering.” He loves working on his 3D printer (and making some pretty amazing stuff!), coding, programming, and other engineering things that I don’t understand! He can fix almost anything! He has fixed our washer and dryer, cars, dishwasher, air conditioner, computers, phones, baby monitor, and much more! He is so amazing and I thank God for him everyday!
Our daughter, Nora

Nora prays every day for a brother or sister.

Ms. fix-it Nora
One of our greatest joys in life is to see our little girl smiling, laughing, singing, running, and playing! We have certainly had to learn to keep on our toes, and she reminds us how to use our own imaginations. Our family loves to go to the park, go swimming, camping, and enjoy movie nights! We enjoy monthly parent/daughter dates, where either Kourtney or Chase takes Nora out for a morning or afternoon activity and treat.
Near the end of 2020, we began praying for the blessing of a brother or sister for our little Nora. She quickly caught on, and now prays every day for a little sister or brother. She also practices taking care of her ‘babies’ daily!
We know that Nora will love her sibling, as she talks about them often. We are so excited to see her be a big sister!
To you, from us.

“We respect your decisions, and believe that you are a blessing in your child’s life.”

Christmas Morning. Nora is wearing a dress that her Great Grandma made for her grandma.
As potential adoptive parents, we recognise that we are not able to understand your specific challenges, and though we haven’t met yet, we want you to know that we love you. We respect your decisions, and believe that you are a blessing in your child’s life. As parent(s), we know that you long to give your child the best future possible. We appreciate your courage and selflessness, and will do all we can to show our support for you. From the beginning, we will strive to be authentic and real with you. We also promise to cherish your child, and to love him or her every bit as much as our precious Nora.
We pray that as you continue on your adoption journey, you will find peace and comfort, and that you will find the answers to your prayers.
If you feel that your answer includes our family, we would love to meet you, and are excited to welcome you and your child into our lives.

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us!

Friend

Kourtney and Chase are our best friends. We have become like family over the years and their daughter Nora and our daughter Charlotte have known each other their entire lives. They are the cutest friends and they get very excited to see each other. Kourtney is very creative and comes up with fun activities for Nora to do and she has given me many helpful parenting ideas, such as attaching a toy bar to a chair when our kids were learning to sit and using kitchen scissors to help make food safer to eat. Chase is very hardworking and he does everything he can to make sure his family is well cared for. It is evident that he puts his family first and he really loves them. They have excellent boundaries and they teach and discipline in a loving way. I have also seen them sit down together and discuss how to best use finances and discuss ideas on how to help Nora so they are on the same page. They are a great team and a great example to Nora of what a healthy marriage looks like. Any child would be blessed to be a part of their family.
